New Quins away shirt

Post by Dave J »

I do hope that when Tigers new shirts are revealed that anyone who hates them will be consoled by the fact that we're not Quins supporters, IMO this is hideous

It's actually better than their previous one which looked like a Pringle golfing sweater.
But still £46 for a bit of polyester? That's rubbish, that is.

I don't object to the concept, but having one set of light blue "3 stripes" and then a set of claret "3 stripes" looks untidy IMHO.

One advantage of wearing it is that you are looking away from it!

Oh I don't know - my eyes start to water if I look at it for too long. Maybe that's the point! :smt005

Its not the shirt that's the problem for me, so much as the failure to build the sponsor's logo into the design in anything like a coherent way - so the logo stand's out like a sore ***** (and just maybe that's the point).

Players as billboards, what is the world coming to? Someone will be designing a whole shirt around a sponsor's logo next - ah that's right, some team in Leicester has already done that quite recently....

I like it. But then I bought our orange one!!

I agree about the blue/red Adidas stripes but the rest, i think, is a good innovative away strip design.

I think teams should play with the away strip.

Have a signed example of the black Euro shirt on the wall at home. Absolute classic, should've been the away shirt in perpetuam, and predates the 'classic' white.

Those vertical stripes are going to do nothing for the fuller bodied rugby fan.
