Leicester Irish

Post by wispa »

Well done to the Irish lads this evening. From captain Leo Cullen to the 2 rookies, John Murphy and Ian Humphries. Shane Jennings try was magic and Frank Murphy was equally as good. The team played with much more hunger than I have seen them play to date. Good to see that there were no yellow cards for Leicester.Keep it up and a bit of silverware should find its way into the cabinet again. Well done lads.

and don't you just love all the Irish accents? *sigh*  *joke* just to make it clear I'm not demeaning either English accents, or the skills of any players :)

Well Rizzo in less than 3 weeks you will be able to hear 2500 Irish accents singing 'Stand up & fight' & 'Feilds of Athenry'. As we roar the lads on to Victory.

I think that the Irish lads at Leicester are doing brilliantly. Jennings is a great flanker and as a young flanker myself i look up to him. I dont think that he has ever had a bad game.

I would also like to see the hooker Hickie being given a chance at the weekend. This would give Chuter a rest and a give the fans a chance to see this new signing.
