MATTY'S GOING HOME
Glad to hear Mr Hampson is going home where he belongs. he may appear in a tigers shirt again but if not i hope the boys upstairs do the right thing and look after the boy, including life time club membership.
ollie smith is a legend. sam vesty is an ignorant fool
Well I don't think Matt expects to ever be playing again but it is great news that he can finally go home. He has made an amazing recovery to get where he is now, and having seen him on the news the other night it is excellent to see that he is in very good spirits. A real inspiration that lad. Every time I have been down the last few days about not being able to do what I want while my leg is plastered I remind myself that Matt's problems are far greater than mine and he is dealing with it much better.

There's a piece in the Leicester Mercury about him tonight (little article about 4 paragraphs) basically saying that he's going home, Matt Cornwell quoted as saying Hambo is back to his old self, has been to the training ground and having a laugh and joke with the lads. Also that Hambo wants to be involved in Tigers and the game somehow in whatever way possible for him.
Dusty Hare and Roy Jackson both saying how delighted they and the club and everyone is to see Hambo going home, but that he will still need 24 hour care, and that they have every intention to keep raising money as much as they can for Matt's lifetime - the club will support and assist him in every way.
PS why not go to http://www.matthampson.co.uk and see what they've got on there...
