Karl Dickson
Awful reffing today so Sarries biased.
Why no yellow cards is a miss.
Always see Dickson as a ref who makes it all up most of the time.

Re: Karl Dickson
First of all your bias against Dickson is there for all to see he is one of the best officials around and Brizzle were lucky to get away without a penalty try.
Secondly 50 minutes in Itoje and Earl both in the bin. How do you like them apples

So basic it was only just caught by slow motion camera.
Are you a Dickson hater a Sarries hater or both
Re: Karl Dickson
Bit different to our game management last week but Sarries have more of their key players fit! And Bristol aren’t getting away with so many things compared to last week.

Re: Karl Dickson
Nobody gets it right all the time but Dickson is certainly one of the better officials around at the moment imho. I didn’t see the game in question so can’t comment but I’d certainly prefer him on the whistle over CMK, Carley, Makepeace and maybe Tempest.

Re: Karl Dickson
Why would a professional referee who never played for Sarries in his career is bias towards them? Wouldn't that be an incredibly risky and damaging thing to do for your refereeing career?
Re: Karl Dickson
In my opinion Dickson is one of the top referees in the world at the moment.

Re: Karl Dickson
That says more about the general standard of officiating than Dickson himself.
He is considerably better than he was, but he's no Barnes or Owens.
To win is not as important as playing with style!

That’s akin to saying that not every footballer is Ronaldo or MessiWayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 9:12 amThat says more about the general standard of officiating than Dickson himself.

I agree with the comments regarding the improvement in Dickson, he is developing into one of our best referees. I have been watching rugby for a long time and remember early Barnes and Owen, even as experienced referees they still.made some questionable decisions but on the whole were good. Probably the longer they are retired the better they will be, always better than the current crop.

Just look at Clive Norling, often mentioned as one of the best ever but who made some howlersjohnthegriff wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 11:05 am I agree with the comments regarding the improvement in Dickson, he is developing into one of our best referees. Re: Karl Dickson
The strange thing is that when I read match reports on various newspapers' websites and other news organisations, I rarely, if ever, read that a refereee is biased. Perhaps I'm naive and the hush-up is part of a wider conspiracy too.
The refs and TMOs are human too - why wouldn't they make an occasional mistake or miss something - it's not like the players are perfect. Some on here need to accept that the current crop are the best available.
Like in football, more technology doesn't always guarantee perfect decisions - in some cases it just highlights how marginal they are.
