Tigers v Northampton (A) - Saturday 29th April 2023 - KO: 2-00pm

Post by TigerFeetSteve »

So part 2 of the double header.

For me with the teams not having another match it's a chance to go stronger, but I'd mainly use it to get time for guys we want match sharp in case of injuries.

Brown
Simmons
Cokanasiga
Woodward
Murimurivalu
Atkinson
Edwards
Whitcombe
Dolly
Hurd
Wells (if Fit)
Snyman
Carnduff
Illione
Jansen

Vanes
Van Wyk
Richardson
T.Manz (if fit)/L.Chessum
J.Manz
Whitely
Meredith
Saumaki

Few others in contention

Porter plays if fit.

Do we play Clare at all, he's played a bit but not huge minutes with Montoya often doing mostly 80, for me he's match sharp enough.

Gopperth maybe plays keep him sharp in case of any issues to other centres.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

As I recall he did come off, possibly through injury. Anyone with any updates?

I plan to attend this game. Had all my shots to travel across the border…and am equipped with a phrasebook of pictures in case I have trouble communicating. Will be careful not to mention the concept of ‘defence in rugby union’ for fear of antagonising the locals

Cheering on the Tigers in Detroit.
Previously a slower, shorter, less good looking version of Tom Croft.

Should’ve read the Injuries thread first.

Is the game being streamed anywhere?

Don’t know re streaming. I have been promised a larger crowd than turned up to the Tigers game. But who knows. I expect plenty of tickets left, and if the weather is good might be a good day out

Dan Richardson on the bench for Nottingham Friday night.

It will be interesting if he does both matches back to back like he did with the home game.

You’ll be fine. However, you have remembered about the mandatory quarantine when re-entering Leicester, I hope?
