Without the 2 unlucky interceptions it would be 35-14. Yes the second half has been scrappy but lots of positives today
Re: Tigers vs Dragons - Saturday 4th September
A lot of handling errors today but that's what pre-season is for
Re: Tigers vs Dragons - Saturday 4th September
35-28, a decent game all things considered although Scarlets on Thursday will be the real test IMO

Second half wasn't so great, but good that a lot of players saw some game time.

Liked the live stream aside from the gigantic text!
Re: Tigers vs Dragons - Saturday 4th September
Can someone please ask the person in charge of the camera angles to stop switching so often. You miss so much of the action when viewing the game from ground level. We missed two tries today because of that angle. Why do you think the coaches sit in the stands to watch the game.
What noise annoys an oyster
Re: Tigers vs Dragons - Saturday 4th September
Very enjoyable game shame about the intercepts but we reacted well and secured a well deserved win. For me Cobus Van Wyk in a Tigers Shirt is reminiscent of Will Spencer.
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity

Don't like the league 40/20 50/22 or whatever the hell it is

I presume the point of the change is to tip the balance in favour of attack - by making the drift defence less attractive. Is that right, or am I missing something obvious?!
[/quote]
I think that's right Chris. I think it will be a major tactic this season, with kicking f/hs, centres and abs all looking to take advantage.

Really liked the look of Snyman, could be a huge asset in our lineout. Saumaki looks very dangerous too. Really good to be back at Welford Road too! Was expecting a close game from the Dragons to be fair, and although the first half was more impressive still glad we got the win!

Snyman handling and running impresses me.
Re: Tigers vs Dragons - Saturday 4th September
How did our 2 former players get on?
Re: Tigers vs Dragons - Saturday 4th September
More kicking less running line out is almost a gimme since lifting was allowed further forward dominated game and this is more entertaining?MurphysLaw wrote: ↑Sat Sep 04, 2021 6:47 pmI think that's right Chris. Jordan did pretty well to be fair to him
A good work out and great to back at the ground
