Personally I do agree that Gatland wouldn't have picked Ford even if he was 100% fit.
He picked Beard over Gray.
I would have both and left Jonny Hill at home.
Beard was the replacement for AWJ, a player why has played for the Welsh side on the wings in a 1-3-3-1 formation. Beard is a player who can also do that kind of stuff, Gray is a player that cannot.

Scott this is why people accuse you of trolling, you claim Ford wasn't called up out of spite then say he doesn't deserve it anyway
No I meant Gatland wouldn’t have picked him anyway hahaha,Dokie has got you to bite there! It’s obvious what I meant and who I was talking about
Love it
Yeah you got him there hook, line and sinker. But you will have to get up earlier than that to catch me

Gareth Davies has surely played himself out of the tests, Murray and Price have looked so much better
Davies has been awful, Murray and Biggar must be the starting half backs, Daly garbage too, lots of others not up to scratch, missing a leader on the pitch!

Why not George Ford?
same reason he wasn't called up for England, he is recovering from a persistent injury
Oh, wasn’t aware of that. Injured pride, perhaps?
He's been nursing an achilles injury for some time, apparently as far back as the 6N which might explain why he didn't return in the game where Robson went to 10. Towards the end of the season he just couldn't manage it any longer and McPhillips was playing 10. A summer off to get himself sorted is for the best all round. Trying to limp through a Lion's Tour in South Africa is a really bad idea.

Davies was poor today but Murray wasn’t any better when he came on, possibly worse. Strange that a team can score over 70 points and there weren’t that many I’d say had a good game. There was some good but most players were poor at some point and no one shone for me like in the previous 2 games, where 2 or 3 players stood out. Even Furlong looked at best average today.
I’d still have him at tighthead though and go Murray / Biggar at half back.
Macko looks like he has figured out he might outscruumage the Rutland Octogenarian grannies 15.
As for all other opposition, laying near horizontal with legs straight and studs dug in seems His bet bet at not being driven back. That took 2 mins for their reserves to figure out!
