Better hope Nadolo has signed then
Hadnt noticed but Nadolo commented on Genge's post-match interview. Pure speculation obviously but does raise a bit more hope (plus the hat trick he just scored)
Either Nadolo loves trolling on social media or he's coming to Tigers!
The big question is whether he's replacing May or in addition to Jonny. If he's in addition then cap will need to be getting diverted from somewhere else. Thompstone is out of contract and last signed as a starter but Nadolo will command more. Joe Thomas is rumoured off but is on pennies. If McPhillips moves on that might represent a small saving with Zach Henry replacing him.
Tom Youngs re-signing on a much lower contract and Polota-Nau being replaced by Singleton (who would probably command less that TPN's big wage) would represent the largest saving to spend elsewhere. I hope that largely goes into the forwards targeting a starting lock (Alemanno) and back row (Ben Earl would fit perfectly).
Just read an article on the RugbyPaper suggesting where carries players might be ending up next season. Lozowski seems to be ending up at Bath, Koch back to SA, Kruis to Japan, Tompkins to Scarlets and Faz, George and Itoje staying with other internationals going on loan.
However the players still up for grabs who look like leaving are Spencer, Earl, Malins, Isiekwe and Singleton.
Who would be the top target out of those still available?
I think Isiekwe or Malin
Less due to Nadolo tweeting support of Genge. More Nadolo being seen at Welford Road suited and booted, putting out Instagram posts such as "every end is a new beginning" (a comment of a Tiger emoji underneath is liked by cousin and former Tiger Lote Tuquiri) or the tweet "got some good news...stay tuned" followed by the man himself commenting a Tiger emoji he has since deleted.
Montpellier are needing to let go of non French qualified players as well due to quotas for non-FQP in Top 14 matchday 23s. They need to keep key players such as the outstanding Jacques du Plessis, Nico Janse van Rensburg and Handre Pollard.
I'd be more surprised if Nadolo didn't get confirmed than if he does at this stage. Similar with Matias Alemanno.
Moriarty and May I've heard more mixed rumours about. Lenny is struggling for big offers in the Prem but has an offer in France that guarantees him more club wages although he could earn more overall by staying at Tigers and picking up £25k per England performance.

Top target for us? Singleton no question. TPN and Youngs aren't getting any younger and Singleton is a powerful, mobile and a solid set piece hooker. Needs a bit of fine tuning but he's still young.
Top target in general? Then you're probably right with Isikwe and Mallins. Spencer could be a very good acquisition for someone as well.
Mallins was a sensation in his first few matches but I seem to have seen/heard less of him lately.
However, one wonders whether these ex-Sarries players will be in a good place mentally - either because of the tainting of their culture/environment and/or because they are killing time before heading back to their mother.
Jack Singleton would be a shrewd and wise signing as our first two hookers are on the slide and the rest are decent benchers but not starting prospects.
The only reason I could see for signing Singleton on loan for 1 season would be if another target is still in contract for another season, otherwise it seems a waste of time signing players on loan IMO
