Quins set to announce a signing a day this week coming
Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2018-19
Wonder if one will be Evans. Let's hope if it is it doesn't come back to bite us like Goneva,Slater,TtT,Thacker and so on.

Harlequins sign Landajo. Odd signing when they have Care who ain’t being called up these days.
Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2018-19
Suspect the recent Robson news will see Care back in, can't believe that EJ would take Spencer as his second choice 9 to a World Cup.Leicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2019 8:32 pm Harlequins sign Landajo. Odd signing when they have Care who ain’t being called up these days.

Looks like all the rumours about RG Snyman and possibly Cipriani going to Harlequins were rubbish. Don’t seem to have strengthened that much.

Kerrod
Bottia
Landago
Baldwin
Lewies
Young
Freeman
Evans
Lawday
Herron
Campagnaro
Northmore
Baldwin, Evans, Lawday and Campagnaro are good signings
Landago is a good signing but with Care potentially out of england and avaiable all year might be a lot of money on a back up 9.
Bottia is a step down on Boyce.
Honestly we had signed those players people would be moaning on the whole.

Agreed, if I was a Quins fan I wouldn’t be too happy with those signings. Plus all the media statements from the players was cringeworthy at best.RagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 3:09 pm Kerrod

Kerrod is injury prone, don’t know much about the Championship signings, but Northmore is from Cardiff Met which is where Dombrandt came from, so could be an interesting signing.RagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 3:09 pm Kerrod

That’s probably all the signings Harlequins have made for next season, we might see a couple of late announcements in July however.

Looks like squad improvements as opposed to improving the starting 15. How good they are will probably be determined by how they are replacing. Certainly not raising much interest.RagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 3:09 pm Kerrod

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2018-19
Exeter Chiefs have signed second row Tom Price in a two year deal for 2019/20.
Tom was at Tigers Academy and left for Scarlets in 2015/16 with 56 appearances & 3 tries there.
This looks a good signing for The Chiefs as @ 26yrs he is now maturing having been understudy for the Welsh second rows at Scarlets. Before anyone else states it "yes another ex Tiger makes good elsewhere"

To the world you may be just one person.
But to that one person you may be the world!

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2018-19
He didn't make good at Scarlets. Failed to break into the first team and was only a squad man. I suspect he's cheap squad filler with Baxter expecting one or two of his players to be involved at the world cup and maybe one or two of his locks could possibly leave. They've also signed Witty from Falcons who I expect to be higher up the pecking order than Price.AngusMcCoatup wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2019 6:07 pm Exeter Chiefs have signed second row Tom Price in a two year deal for 2019/20.
