Sale vs Tigers
It’ll be interesting as to what will happen at Sale on Friday, I’d go for 1 point, although we did perform very well there last season with injuries, absentees etc I can’t see it happening. This time though Sale won’t have Strauss or Tom Curry, so only one Curry to deal with on Friday (and that’s just my dinner - I’ll get my coat ).

Re: Sale vs Tigers
Gigena looked injured when he came off not sure how long Bateman is out for.
Would like to see Worth at 13 with a back 3 of SAR and Sato on the wings with Holmes at 15

Re: Sale vs Tigers
Pretty sure Gigena’s injury was just a tight hamstring.

Re: Sale vs Tigers
Listening to Mat Tait on the latest podcast, Greg Bateman should be going down with a bad cold right about now!

Re: Sale vs Tigers
I'd have Sam Aspland-Robinson ahead of Olowofela
and leave Worth at 15, let him make the position his own.

Think Cole will be in the England 23

Re: Sale vs Tigers
What's the point of shifting Worth when he 's just starting to settle down ? . Tuilagi on the bench when Fitzgerald is fit ?
Re: Sale vs Tigers
Don't like the 5 - 2 split on the bench - would not have Tuilagi on the bench at all - look at what happened yesterday with the 5 - 2 split. Choice between Fitz, Wells and Evans as to who misses out and would have Hardwick on the bench if fit as well as Harrison again if fit

Re: Sale vs Tigers
Fitz cane off the bench and got stripped in contact near halfway then knocked under in a routine tackle near the 22. Kept the pressure on us needlessly. Unsure of his other stats and how the two players are doing in training but no senior player should be guaranteed a place.
Personally I'd like to see a backrow of Thompson, Evans, Kalamafoni. Sale like to compete hard at the breakdown so we should be ready to do battle there.
With a bit of luck Hardwick and Owolofela will be fit to come on to the bench. Move SAR into 13 and Sarto onto the wing. Keep Worth at 15 and Holmes on the other wing.
Re: Sale vs Tigers
I was simply making a prediction based on the poor performance of Fitzgerald off the bench and the people I saw training yesterday before the match.trendylfj wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2019 6:07 pm Don't like the 5 - 2 split on the bench - would not have Tuilagi on the bench at all - look at what happened yesterday with the 5 - 2 split. It was a 6-2 split. I think that it may be the last 23 standing who will be at Sale!trendylfj wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2019 6:07 pm Don't like the 5 - 2 split on the bench - would not have Tuilagi on the bench at all - look at what happened yesterday with the 5 - 2 split. Re: Sale vs Tigers
I know some posters have a soft spot for him but Freddie Tuilagi should not be anywhere near the premiership match day squad.
