Re: Worcester vs Tigers
I believe that the latest update about TV was that he would not be fit until near the end of the season - end of April at the earliest. Haven't read anything about Dents recently but my memory tells me he is almost ready to resume contact work
Hehehehehehehehe
Re: Worcester vs Tigers
I use admit Denton worries me. From memory it was a relatively minor collision that caused the concussion and he has been out for a number of months.
Someone mentioned that Spencer was warming up with the squad before the Saracens game and if Denton was near a return I would expect him to be doing so too.
I have nothing to go on but a gut feeling but it worries me that we may not see him play again

Bateman was bleeding profusely in the Sarries game.

With BOC out the back row is coming down to just picking who's fit. If Neither Mapapalangi or Fred T feature on the bench it may well say a lot about their future at the club.

Murphy is saying Thompson is available for selection.

Brilliant news. Missing Thompson and Denton at the same time has hit the back row very very hard.

Re: Worcester vs Tigers
I feel a bit sorry for Tom Varndell. He is taking a lot of stick on here. The blame firmly lies at the door of Geordan Murphy. He is the man responsible for bringing him back to Welford Road, and for selecting him, so why not give him some stick? Fair's fair, people.
Re: Worcester vs Tigers
Murphy has given him a chance to prove himself, put himself in the shop window, I think the term used. Prove himself he must.

BOC torn Hamstring, you’d assume that’s him done for the season

It's a pull rather than a tear, according to Smurf:Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Thu Feb 21, 2019 12:02 am BOC torn Hamstring, you’d assume that’s him done for the season
"Brendon's not too bad, it is a bit of a tweak," Murphy said. "He actually ran today (Wednesday) but the difference between running and playing a rugby match, particularly for No.7, is huge so hopefully he is only going to be two or three weeks."
Happy days clearing straw from the pitch before the Baa-Baas games! KBO
