We have to be very careful at present, you could still argue that the club is just going through a "blip" and it's imperative we don't fall away completely,if we haven't done already!

Heart says first or second, head says sixth.
Re: What position will Tigers will finish in the League?
If Tigers execute better tactics more often they can do well.
If they get stuck in no mans land wrestling with that possession and territory must be achieved together mindset that drains forwards then they could struggle.
Play the oppositions 22 and press and this was no more evident than Falcons away.
Number 9 needs to wake up!
Personally I would've liked to have seen a full back acquired and Veainu's pace transferred to the wing opposite May to threaten the spaces in behind on both wings and calm that opposition rush down enough for the two playmakers at 10 and 12 to prosper.
Cordero or Mike Brown rumoured would've been perfect (another slapped wrist for recruitment) but enter Olowafela or Worth with a huge opportunity.

We got greedy early there and it backfired badly! Not the first time either. Our strikerate for 5m lineout is awful,I don't know why we bother,I hope it's not more of the same this season!
Re: What position will Tigers will finish in the League?
Apparently, Bakewell has changed the lineout code and simplified things, we’ll see on Friday as to how well this new system goes (well not me I can’t make it unfortunately)l

I'll be there JP,can't wait!
Re: What position will Tigers will finish in the League?
Mail Online article not giving Tigers much chance this coming season; it gives an assessment of each club and then some writers' views on likely finishing positions. Between them they place Tigers between 6th and 8th, the latter being Chris Foy's view. Sale and Gloucester seem favoured; Newcastle drop back. Personally I think we can do better than that and feel the article is somewhat speculative at this stage of the (not yet started) season.

I expect Exeter and Sarries to be in 2 of the play off places. For the other 2 places perm any two from Tigers, Bath, Wasps, Gloucester, Newcastle and possibly Sale. Bottom half of table Bristol, Worcester, Harlequins and Saints any of which could be relegated.Scuttle wrote: ↑Mon Aug 27, 2018 9:07 am Mail Online article not giving Tigers much chance this coming season; it gives an assessment of each club and then some writers' views on likely finishing positions. Gloc were 3rd very late in the season until the wheels fell off that was with Ackerman only visiting Gloc once preseason, having hardly no training preseason and very little done in terms of recruitment. Now he has more of his Lions in as well as other good Saffers not forgetting Cips so has a very good chance of finishing top 4. At least give some reasons why Ellis.
I just have a feeling they won't make top 6 but Tigers will.
In fact in my prediction in July for how I think the table will finish, I put Gloucester in 9th.
Ellis9 - What do any of us know - what amazes me is how we lost to the Tiggers at Welford Road earlier in the season.
LOL
