Plea to Leicester Tigers
Please will you promise to never, ever jump on the latest band wagon of installing a plastic pitch?!
Thank you.
Thank you.

It's a very old band-wagon with an excellent pedigree, thank you!ellis9 wrote:Please will you promise to never, ever jump on the latest band wagon of installing a plastic pitch?!

The annoying thing is it was the first proper beer I started drinking in my teens. I'm not sure whether my gastric constituents have changed or Marstons did something to it but I wouldn't thank you for a pint of it nowadays. In fact, I cannot bear going into a Marstons pub because of the sulphurous aroma their beers give off.Cagey Tiger wrote:I feel sorry for you. One of my favourite beers.

Totally agree BeeJay - Guinness is better, but at our age it's one in and two out!BeeJay wrote:I can't stand Pedigree. It goes straight through me!ellis9 wrote:Excellent pedigree?! I don't think so!

Draught Marstons doesn't travel very well, best drunk local to the brewery or bought from the shop at the brewery in Burton and taken home.

Guinness? Foul concoction Even at the Guinness Brewery in Dublin. However, I am not a fan of any stout or mild beers that I have tried.
Re: Plea to Leicester Tigers
I don't know about this, whilst I like playing and watching play on natural grass, the continued Global warming? means more rain in the future and so far we have been lucky this season that we have avoided the worst of the weather. I think the artificial pitch at Allianz park Barnet has shown that such pitches can stand the deteriorating weather without adding to players injuries. It's a vexed question and something that needs deep consideration given the amount of money tied up in the modern game.

No. Grass is the perfect surface for rugby.

You should stick to winalot then, or chumBeeJay wrote:I can't stand Pedigree. It goes straight through me!ellis9 wrote:Excellent pedigree?! I don't think so!
God created rugby so footballers have heros too
Re: Plea to Leicester Tigers
The Guinness at the brewery in Dublin was awful because it was so cold. However it was free as part of the golden ticket for the European Final.
To the tune of where have all the flowers gone I wondered whether the in goal area at the Clubhouse end will ever see grass again.

English Rugby hasn't been keeping up with Southern Hemisphere rugby for one reason in my mind; The weather. They don't have to worry about slow ball because theres a river off mud you have to fish the ball out of.
Really dislike plastic pitches, really cut your knees up and dont offer much cushion, but Tigers have been preforming much better since its dried up. The two teams in the prem (to my knowledge) with plastic pitches were Sarcens who are on form and Newcastle who are struggling like mad but still had a 3 month unbeaten streak at home on the rubber crumb!
