It was a tremendous effort in terms of commitment. I think they just wanted the win more than Leinster.

Saints have always been capable of turning out excellent performances, but they struggle to perform at their peak in every game.

Indeed well played and congrats and also Barnes stating that Stains are the best team in England. Seems the premiership must have has already been won :smt017 missed that

9-18, Leinster attacking at the death 9-13, pounding the line, tried to shift it wide & Heaslip mishandled & Saints went the length from 5 metres out.

Deserved their win too. Reminded me of the double-header Ulster had with them last season, stuffed them at FG with a TBP then played as if we only had to turn up to win & lost 9-10 at Ravenhill. Hard to keep complacency at bay when you have annihilated a team a week beforehand.

After getting blitzed last week you have to give it to saints that was a quality performance!! Tigers
Need to do the same tomorrow if they want to be in the mix at the later stages!!!

If you want to know the result of a game prior to kick-off, read Will Greenwood's column in the Saturday Daily Telegraph. The team/player he extols in the morning invariably gets beat in the afternoon. Last week Samu Manoa was the greatest player on the planet - this week Leinster were better than Canterbury Crusaders. Hope the bookies don't get to read his column.

You have to feel for Leinster, two tough matches in a row, who's idea was that, perhaps more thought should have gone into match schedueling so they could play a double header against a weaker side.

As certain as if night follows day, and O'Connor has been alleged to say it, if the Irish provinces had to compete in the AP with their normal squads, week in week out, they wouldnt win it.....

So no, they wouldnt have a prayer in the Heineken either.

Well played Saints deserved win.

Agree with ancientmariner about Will Greenwood, really funny!! He is a good journalist but got his timing badly wrong these last two weeks...!!

Also agree with The Boy Dave, it really would be interesting to see how the undoubtedly talented Irish provinces would cope with the week in week out slog that is the AP, oh and not forgetting having to finish in the top 6 and the dreaded relagation!!!!

Did the bulk of this Leinster team not play 3 Internationals in a row?

Idiotic post.
