Bill W: go to BBC iPlayer, "Listen again"; get Monica Winfield on Radio Leicester.
Shuffle along to shortly before 8am this morning & listen to the Jacksonville Jaguars' cheerleaders talking with Mon.
Then get yourself down to the King Power this afternoon, 'cos they're on at half-time in the City's game! They're also at a gridiron game at Wembley tomorrow: rather than then fly back to sunny Florida, do you think they could be persuaded to hang around in wintery Leicester for next Saturday's Stains game?

Re: Cheerleaders - an alert for Bill W
It's an odd world where we are not supposed to want cheerleaders and yet an advert shown frequently before the watershed on TV depicts two scrubbers lusting after a bunch of male strippers and referring to their "bulges".
We don't want cheerleaders because we're old pervs (well maybe we are) but they are pretty and entertaining.

Kicks and scrums and ruck and roll.....Is all my brain and body need!

If they are there I'll be looking - but do I think we need 'em or want 'em - the answer's NO.

I agree, they probably don't need or want us either!
But who cares?
My wife used to be a full time entertainer and I was a part time entertainer. It's a great buzz to entertain people, and no one dragged us on stage. We enjoyed entertaining audiences.
If young lasses want to waft their pom-poms in front of a viewing public who cheer and clap then there are no losers.
