Re: Castro signs new contract........
Yep I got the text as well. Cracking News.
Good lad Castro.
Just hope we don't have to lose too many other players to keep within the salary cap.

Re: Castro
This is excellent news although I really wish they would have waited until the end of University Challenge before sending it out.
Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

Any chance of merging this thread with the original Castro thread that has been running since Saturday?

Re: Castro signs new contract........
As a Tigers season ticket holder we wanted you to be among the first to know: Martin Castrogiovanni has agreed a new contract with the club.
He said: “I have always enjoyed my rugby at Leicester, I like it here and I wanted to stay. The supporters have been brilliant to me and I am proud to be part of this club. I want to give 100 per cent for the shirt because it is a Leicester Tigers shirt.”
Director of rugby Richard Cockerill added: “Everyone knows Castro has had opportunities to go elsewhere, but he has shown his commitment to Tigers and we’re looking forward to his continued contribution.”
Club chairman Peter Tom CBE said: “We have tremendously loyal supporters and one of the reasons behind our success is that the revenue we receive from season ticket sales allows us to maximise expenditure on the playing squad within the salary cap where some other clubs may be unable to do so. We also invest significantly in support of the playing side, all with the aim of maintaining success in the long term.
“There is a unique culture here and players know they can develop with us in a successful environment.”
By text and now email. Thanks Martin
