I can live with the hoops.
End of the day, it's tradition that Tigers does stand for in so many ways.
Be traditional, the way forward is to remain one of the, if not the, number one club. Others come and go, Tigers have been there for ever!

Tigers have stripes (aka hoops). Nuff said!
Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

home strip needs to be a variation on green red and white hoops - traditional and what we expect to see.
However the away strip to me is were experimentation and style could be brought in
The grey is just ghastly and to my mind has no relation to the Tigers other than a tiger to the badge
I think red green an white should feature somewhwere on the shirt even in a little way
What about the colour it "has" to be as the predomient colour ie black and then some design in the red green and white, incorporating some tradition with a modern twist.
- So how about on the black shirts little letters in red green and white all over it A B C D etc in a kind of alphabet spagetti kind of way.

Ho about basing it around the green home warm up shirt - seem to remember comments that was a good Tigers shirt.

I don't think we have to try too hard , or to "re-brand" ourselves. Red, green and white hoops have proudly adorned Tigers since September 1895 ( with a couple of regrettable exceptions) and I do not see any reason to bow to fashion now.
More hoops please, Frannie !

Here's another Crumbie Codger who says ( and has said before ) STRIPES.
I do agree that the away shirt could be more daring and with modern technology could actually be orange black tiger stipes a la Cincinnatti Bengals helmets which I think look really good.

fairly broad green white and red hoops is fine by me
the away shirt has to be light in colour , we aren't the only club that plays in grey !
but where can I get a tigers warm up shirt from ?

Perhaps a single black capital letter on a white background on the back?

Something along the lines of the warm-up shirt wouldn't be bad

The club did a similar shirt 10 years ago, as a "european" shirt. It went down so well that the only one I've ever seen, except being worn by Winston Stanley (I think - now confirmed below!) in the press shots, is the one I bought!maxy437 wrote:Something along the lines of the warm-up shirt wouldn't be bad

IMHO, the plain green shirt with red arms (and no stripes, other than down the arm) that was the home shirt 4 years later, was the worst shirt of the 00ies. and possibly the least seen now.
Tigers have stripes (horizontal ones in our case), and the more the better.

Technically speaking
Stripes are vertical
Hoops are horizontal
As seen when the player is standing of course
