Thanks Duggan. I have a sneaky feeling you're right. And I'd always fancied Hell up until you said that....
OSRules, do you play then? Do you enjoy it. Do you stand for all that ladies' tees :censored:? That annoys me, it's just hitting a ball with a stick, we're not :censored: arm wrestling. I think I can manage without a head start for the little girlies!
I would wear a top to my hat. And I wouldn't wear a pink checked jumper with no sleeves. And no way am I wearing the special shoes.

Yes been playing for about 5 years (don't play in the winter much) and won a few junior comps. Normally do play off ladies teas coz always do in competitions. Have played off yellows when playing with some arrogant boys just to show them i can still beat them!!!Cornish Tiger wrote:

No to the jumper - just wear "normal" clothes. Have to wear the shoes - not allowed on the course otherwise!!
TIGERS rock especially Ollie, CRANE, Moody, Crofty, and Matt C

I hate Golf because of all the nauseating ‘businessmen’ who talk endlessly about how they got an ‘eagle’ or ‘chiffchaff’ or whatever on the first hole which was a par 652, and how they played a round (or played around) with the Chairman of Shell last week who was a thoroughly :censored: nice bloke despite getting caught in the rough!!
But the main reason I hate it so much is that I can’t find a pair of trousers silly enough to play it.
:ox

Quite so. I've just had a fantastic 5 mile walk with Spud + a Collie + an Alsatian, saw 3 deer, loads of different birds, had a chat with the farmer's wife and another chat with a gamekeeper. Brilliant.
And I didn't have to wear daft trousers. As it happens, I did wear daft trousers. Some brown cor blimey ones. But I didn't HAVE to.

Kicks and scrums and ruck and roll.....Is all my brain and body need!

You dont have to wear funny trousers but it does help!
I think it's the older generation (no offence Kinny) that purpetuate the myth of the odd trousers. I think todays golfer are quite smart.
I mean you have to wear smart trousers and the correct shoes, a shrit with a collar etc.. etc..
In anycase have you seen the price of a pair of plus4's?
