Its a must win game. It sets the mark for the season and sends the message to the other Prem teams. Don't know how Sale's preseason went but I hope the Tigers improve this week on the training pitch otherwise it may not be "fortress welford" for much longer. I missed the Sale game at Home last year but wasn't it a close call then?

Tigercam if you look on the Guinness Premiership website it tells you all about Sale's preseason friendly and Wasps etc but not a dicky bird about the Tigers beating the European Champs.

Mind you it is a bank holiday - let's see if we see anything tomorrow!!

Can't wait for the backrow battle. If Moody plays 7, it will be an 'interesting' afternoon for him and Lund. I am sure OBNC will be watching.
Lions Tour to SA '97. Why did it have to be Guscott with the drop goal?!!! It almost makes you wish that we had lost!!!

I have been hearing horrible stories about Moody contracting an infection abroad and being unable to play before Round 2 in consequence.

Last seasons home match against Sharks was very tight to the point where Sale looked the better side for most of the game. We were lucky to get a draw. We need more than a 2nd half comback this coming Sunday! A tough game - but we can do it.

Let's not get carried away here, the Tigers didn't play the full Munster side. Their top 7 players were missing. If they had been on the park the score would have been totally different. The Tigers were not good - I was there it wasn't pretty!!

Well I think we should give them a little encouragement rather than starting with the put downs now .... doesn't help build confidence.

Whatever happens come Monday they will still be the team I'll always support, so all they can do is their best and we all know what they are capable of.

That is the reason I travel to see them play - to support them but I don't wear rose-tinted glasses and see the game constructively for what it is good or bad - no spin here. IMO on the performances so far I hope things do improve dramatically otherwise I see the Tigers having another poor season

You beat me to it Bill, I was going to ask when we had a poor season?

I didnt' realise we'd sunk to the depths of despair recently?

Maybe Tiger Cam meant last season!

Nik, best of luck with your operation too and hope you are ready to cheer on Tigers soon. Hope to come across you again sometime.

Granted, not our finest (no silverware) - but hardly poor!!!

Many, many teams would give their eye teeth and £M to do as well.
