Re: "Canon Arm" Technique

The other Irish province trick is for a player to arrive late, headlong into the ruck, slightly to one side and then to swing a foot behind the players on the ground, obstructing the SH from picking up the ball and then collapsing on him, facilitating a counter ruck. Has our Lolly ever been an impartial commentator….on anything?

Re: Tigers v Quins (H) - Saturday 06th May 2023 - KO 4-00pm

I sit in the Crumble opposite side to the incident, I and the people around me said immediately that the initial impact had been to the shoulder and had ridden up, this view was confirmed to us when we saw the replay on the big screen, personally I think Tempest saw what he wanted to see his as he ...

He was good for us. Is he contracted elsewhere? We are looking at a shortage of locks aren’t we?

Ospreys just given up their game.
A real shame.
Was that Rassie Erasmus on the touch line at the line out 67.50 minutes?

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Saturday 25th March 2023 - KO 12:30pm

There doesn't seem to be any criticism of Lenny in today's match thread. He had a few loose moments but I thought he was in pretty decent nick today. Save me as apart from his try I thought he was average. Caught twice in possession dithering and threw a nightmare pass to Brown for him to kick to t...

It’s odd, I’m sure we played Bristol yesterday but I can’t find anything at all about our match in the online edition of the Sunday Times. There’s lots about a match played at Spurs’ stadium yesterday and a bloke called Farrell. Is he any relation to that rugby playing family or that Welshman Stephe...

Re: Sarries wages, allegedly

True, lots of scope for inaccuracy However... Assuming Faz is the marque player, that's £3m for 4 players, remove faz and the 4 already in the 3m and there's 36 players left sharing the £2m. That's £55k each! And then look at the others, theres a bunch of internationals and long serving guys who ar...

Re: Worcester’s woes

Fair point that I have seen mentioned on Twitter, if the buyers are so interested in developing Stourbridge and giving them a new name, why do they not simply invest in them, let the Diamond consortium take over Worcester and then share Sixways if that is where they want to play, everybody is happy...
