Re: Premiership Semi finals 2024

You too thought you were better than that. There are a few internationals with plenty of test match experience too You are completely right! I did mean it slightly tongue in cheek - I should have put a smiley or something there! I have an illogical hatred for Sarries! Which I get just think imo it’...

Re: Premiership Semi finals 2024

I would prefer Saints over Sarries but have a sneaking suspicion Sarries big game experience may just see them home The big game experience they gained whilst over the cap?! I really hope Saints win. Re: Premiership Semi finals 2024

I’m not someone who bears any grudge with Saracens. They have had their punishment & I’ve now moved on. However for the good of the league I don’t want them to win. If bath, Northampton or Sale win, it means we will get 5 different league winners in 5 years and I personally think that’s a good ...

Re: Premiership Semi finals 2024

Saracens are literally the last team I would support, and as much as they are our rivals, Saints are a proper rugby club IMHO. Sale for me over Barf. In terms of who I would like to win the League, the team which came top, as long as that is not Saracens! As wrong as it may be, I will be supporting ...

Re: Challenge Cup Final: Gloucester v Sharks

Shedhead 1 here: I'd support Tigers if you were the last English club in a European Finals match.....................I may still wear my Glaws shirt mind. Bob I think most of us (if slightly reluctantly) will be supporting Gloucester in the final, but won't be too unhappy with a loss... In every ot...

Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter

The key difference today was getting points on the board - last five games we’ve had loads of possession in the first 15mins and come out with little to show for it. Good game management was key today. Completely agree. Also our attack looked to be varied and have lots of shape(s). I hope next seas...

As crazy as it may seem, I hope 24 points ahead is enough!!

Up until now, we have been a really good team.

Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter

Feels like we're either going to win this comfortably, or else cough up a couple of interception tries in the second half and lose it in the last minute. Let's hope we can make the second yellow count at the start of the second half. Let's see how the final 20 mins go. For the last couple of months...

Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter

Do we have our new attack coach already?!! :smt040

It looks like a completely new strategy. Shame we can't catch though or hold on to the ball...

The non-penalty try was hard to believe. There is no way Kelly was going to be caught and no real last man.

Re: Dan Mckellar

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/articles/c2lelwe9eyjo BBC article from McKellar Sounds like he is blaming the season on fitness and his inexperience. He needs to learn his lessons and quickly this season has been very dissapointing. I don't read it like this. Lots of aspects were not his fa...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

If Tigers are signing Moroni then he'd probably be surplus here. I disagree. For me this would be horses for courses. Moroni is one of the best defensive centres in the world IMHO, but I think Perese is better in attack... In any case, we need more than 2 or 3 centres in the squad due to potential ...

Centre, fly half and full back - 29 yrs old.
Solid, flexile player.
Could do worse unless one or both of the academy lads are going to be meaningfully transitioned in next season.
Good call. He was excellent at the weekend, unfortunately.
