Please get behind your team v Exeter
Yes we all hate losing and I too moan then feel guilty I have but after getting back last night I couldn’t believe how negative the posts are!
I’ve said it many times along with others: Borthwick took ages to get things right then when he had he followed it by gradually taking all of the main coaches!
Time to just get behind the players like some of us at the AJBell did. Lots of them played their hearts out: Pollard has struggled recently so start with Shilcock and let Pollard come on for the last 20 if he is fit.
For all our problems we really had them worried but Fordy was superb and the decision to take the 3 points midway through the second half was crucial.
So, how about all those who moan from their armchairs please just get down and show your support.
Bristol, Saints, Bath, Gloucester have all had their problems.
The fans I really admire are the Newcastle ones: the core support still turn up loud and proud.
LET’S ALL MAKE ALOT OF NOISE a week today.

Brilliant. Let’s hope all the home support really get behind the Tigers.
Loud and proud from the first whistle!

Of course!
Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter
Given the way the Chiefs dismantled Quins, the Tigers will need their best performance of the season to send the Tiger faithful away with something to hang onto until September 20th.

Whatever team is picked I'll back them, but we can't go up and can't go down... need to give the youngsters a real shot IMO...
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.
Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter
Great Post, agree wholeheartedly. However, I thought Pollard gave everything against Sale - a couple of huge tackles and some good stuff with ball in hand.
Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter
Agree about Pollard v Sale but I’m sure he took a couple of knocks early on then another huge tackle by him late in the first half meant he was struggling.
I just wonder if it’s worth putting him on the bench with Montoya and Cole just to have some impact late on! Risky maybe but then again if we can be in the game or leading after 60 minutes what an impact they could have.
I really like Pollard but he’s not a Ford, Freddie or Floody who would all boss the backs!

Good team for tomorrow’s game but no Kata, Ben Youngs or Shillcock.

Kata on the bench.
Difficult game to predict. Would hope we’d go all out to end the season on a high. BUT we thought there would be a reaction against Gloucester at home and there wasn’t. So could also see a big defeat.

That’s interesting Kata now on the bench and they’ve updated Instagram to add Kata in 23 shirt when it was originally Phil C?RunTigerRun wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 12:06 pmSome odd selections for me for sure. But back the team nonetheless.

Unsure where the strange selections are given it’s a 23 man game. Good to see Wilkinson on the bench
Have TNT said which game they’re leading with tomorrow
