Premiership Final 2024 - Saints v Bath
The Referee for the Premiership final next Saturday 8th June is Christophe Ridley. If the semis are anything to go by it will be a crackerjack of a game. I hope the teams don't become conservative and try not to lose. My grandson has a ticket; I might just have to mug him.

Re: Championship Clubs Promotion
Interesting, SE Tiger, that you mention CVC. The Times a little while ago had an opinion piece of that very subject and came to the conclusion that it wasn't much of a deal. There were some (high) expectations at the time of new money fuelling a spurt in growth and of CVC linking with other aspects ...

Re: Dan Mckellar
Yes, I think our core of players is very strong - if we don’t achieve to our potential I fear this group could split up pretty quickly. Does anyone think that our current squad could have lived with either side in the Champions Cup final yesterday? The physicality, the pace, the stamina, the handli...

Re: Challenge Cup Final: Gloucester v Sharks
Gloucester quick out of the blocks but for no reward. A team that starts frantically, I always feel, is the weaker. When we were in our pomp, we just managed the fury and then dominated the rest of the game. When we were completely rubbish we were one of those teams that started frantically and then...

Re: Not a new kit Launch.... Tigers Together membership
Because I don't like the pretend "investment" model it's marketed with, or at least was. I prefer sponsorship deals where the club don't need to provide and FAQ and explanation the week after the deal is launched. By the time Socios arrived at Welford Road, it already had a stinking reput...

Re: Not a new kit Launch.... Tigers Together membership
Excellent post GB72. As with all things it’s someone being brave enough to make the first step to start asking the important questions. I wonder just how in favour the welsh regions, and their fans are of South African inclusion in the URC, the Scots also for that matter. In terms of tv figures it ...

Re: Is Tigers emblem unique?
There was a very excitable chap on here some years ago which some of you may remember. He was furious that Kent County Cricket had changed their logo and it included a curved shield. He was trying to prompt Tigers to sue. I wonder if he's calmed down yet.

Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter
One thing that is becoming more common, and Roots was doing it loads, is the flankers moving up in the scrum and either engaging the opposition props or the opposite flanker (when both do it). I watched the other games highlights this morning and Bath did it on their pushover try against Saints too...

Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter
At last! Remy time. I think the question of the season for me is "Just how well could we have done this season had we kept 15 on the pitch more often?" Congratulations Saints. (Spits in bucket) League champions. I don't recognise the farce that is the play offs. In soccer or God's own spo...
