Well said sir! (If you are a sir. I've been in enough pronoun trouble this week.) I've had enough of this Remy drought!

Three obvious learning points from that:

1. We are creating opportunities but failing to score too often. Sort the attack coach issue.
2. Our first 15 can compete against any team in the premiership but we are weak once replacements come on. We have been in front and ended up losing in the last quarter again.
3. If you kick away possession at the end of the game when less than a score in front there is a chance you will lose - as we have seen several times this season.

Why is Carley a ref at this level?
I find myself sitting here asking the 2 same questions! And why do we kick the ball back to a very dangerous attacking team with 2 minutes to go when we are a player down!?

15 on the park and we win with a TBP....

Soooo frustrating and disappointing
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Disagree, how many teams in the prem would kick the ball away from there? Regardless of the scoreline
I think there's a fair few that would, time wasting for two minutes is very difficult nowadays because the refs will give a sealing off penalty at the first opportunity
Bristol weren’t even kicking from their own 22, let alone ours. And they’ve just beaten us, so there’s probably something we should take from that
And we turned them over twice on their own 5m line at least. A better attack and that would have put them so far behind that it would have been impossible for them to finish the comeback.

I mean rule number one should be never give Bristol the ball in open play. Full stop. They are far too dangerous.

I prefer not to speak at this moment
I am so fuming

How people think Van Wyk is better than Nicky Smith I don’t know, and we are seriously going to need a proper Cole replacement marked down

Another defeat blamed on the referee by lots of posters on here, ridiculous, the players lost the game, we as a team are plainly not good enough, please stop blaming the ref it’s becoming embarrassing.

Smith is a big step up. As Edwards would be over Whiteley.. sadly that ship has sailed

I guess this, (From the doom and gloom thread.)

Do the basics well
Keep discipline
Take chances
Keep the scoreboard ticking.

Didn't happen then?

The second yellow for Brown changed the game. A bit of common sense in that scenario would have been lovely, but alas, that's too much to ask. We were defending well with 15 men.

That said, our replacements being mostly rubbish was obviously a factor. Some of those guys are just not up to it.
