Boot laces
I have been wondering in my (many) idle moments why it is that we see so many players having to re-tie their boot laces. I know that in days of old it could be used as a tactical move to give a breather or two but this feels different. People, and a lot of them, seem to be tying their bootlaces because they have genuinely come undone. Is this a common trait of the modern footwear or am I just imagining things (completely possible)?

Re: Boot laces
You’re not just imagining things; there are indeed common issues with modern football boots that could explain why players frequently have to re-tie their laces. Research has shown that many players experience discomfort due to the design of their boots, which can affect their performance. This discomfort often relates to the fit and shape of the boot, which may not be tailored to the unique foot shapes and sizes of all players.
