My mobile contract is up at the start of next season and so that is a strong option.Hot_Charlie wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 12:50 pmIf you are on a mobile contract with EE you can get it for £20 per month too.

EE charges for EU roaming though if thats something you'd be bothered about.GB72 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 12:51 pmMy mobile contract is up at the start of next season and so that is a strong option.Hot_Charlie wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 12:50 pmIf you are on a mobile contract with EE you can get it for £20 per month too.

Personally I save more by the £12 per month or so on TNT than I do roaming!ads wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 1:07 pmEE charges for EU roaming though if thats something you'd be bothered about.GB72 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 12:51 pmMy mobile contract is up at the start of next season and so that is a strong option.Hot_Charlie wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 12:50 pm

One other thought around this - if all games are to be screened live then it's likely that we'll see lots of different kick off times so that TNT can maximise viewings figures and have as little overlap as possible.
I'd suspect one Friday night game, one midday Saturday, one or two at 3pm on Saturday and one at midday Sunday (if only one Saturday 3pm game) and one at 3pm on Sunday.
I know kick off times have been a big discussion (moan) point on this forum for a long, long time and this may only add to it.

No tv deal would make me want to give up my season ticket and watch Tigers live at MWWR. It would however stop me from going to several of the away matches.

Totally agree. Unfortunately the harsh truth of the matter is no tv deal quite possibly no premiership.longlivethecrumbie wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 6:58 am One other thought around this - if all games are to be screened live then it's likely that we'll see lots of different kick off times so that TNT can maximise viewings figures and have as little overlap as possible.

They will no doubt spread the kick offs around, a positive maybe that it will increase supporters base and maybe convert some tv viewers into fans in attendance
Re: TV Deal for Season 2024/2025
Not sure it will be too different. A Friday night game, a Sunday game and perhaps one main game on Saturday with the others on the red button. Guess you may see some Saturday evening games or the odd earlier kick off but it could be done with no real change to what we have now.longlivethecrumbie wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 6:58 am One other thought around this - if all games are to be screened live then it's likely that we'll see lots of different kick off times so that TNT can maximise viewings figures and have as little overlap as possible.

Makes sense to me to spread them. So maybe Friday night,1,3 and 5 o'clock Saturday and the other Sunday. Maybe sometimes 2 on a Sunday instead

Would love 3 games on a Saturday if Tigers were away. On the sofa for 6 hours drinking beer

For those of us who live sadly further afield
Will this mean a more fixed schedule so that we can all plan our weekends better and be less likely to be mucked about?

Imo the games will be released in either 2 or 3 blocks. The days games are played may depend on league positions local rivalry etcKnightonian wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:58 am For those of us who live sadly further afield

Re: TV Deal for Season 2024/2025
Something I haven't seen mentioned is the quality of the TNT pictures.
I'm not an expert, but a sort of pixelation occurs and the overall resolution reminds me of the low quality European football matches on Sports Night in the 70s from places like Sparta Prague or Shakhtar Donetsk (older viewers may recall Gerald Sindstadts commentary over a telephone line!).
Im sure its not just my TV, as I've seen the same in pubs and friends houses.
I don't recall a problem with BT picture quality, nor Sky when they had it.

Re: TV Deal for Season 2024/2025
TNT is part of my BT super fast fibre package. I just have the HD version at £17.00 per month. On the TV app the clarity can be a off but through the BT box it is really good, plus I can record the series of game. If I lived near to Leicester then I would go to every home game but travel, the costs etc makes my £17.00 fit into my budget.
