In terms of what sort of team will face Nottingham...

We normally have 2 or 3 players in Loughborough's BUCS league (played Wednesday afternoons), last week Cusick, Gourlay & Meredith were in there...

Tomorrow's team for Loughborough:

Not one Tigers player in there, suggests that they are being saved for Friday.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Nottingham have an awful lot of injuries themselves so it will be interesting from both sides to see what kind of teams are going to be put out.

Going in cold for Ealing then... I hope that's not too much of a risk.

Still good to see the development squad getting some good bonus gamete. Some new faces in there too - interesting whether they are trials for next season kind of thing? (The likes of Maddock, Valentine (who is a Notts player - further TH injury issues as Valentine has done a swap with Miele at prop) Adams, Cave, Roberts etc.)

That is a much changed team from last weeks game at Ampthill.

It’s not hugely changed. We lost at least 4 players to injury at Ampthill so something had to change I guess….
I’ve just had a look at the team from Ampthill- of our front row last week, 2 of them are playing for Tigers tomorrow night. One got carried off with a shoulder injury so is out of the running. One of our locks is on international duty. 2 of our back rows are on the bench tomorrow night. Our fly half also got carried off with what looked like a broken arm. Our scrum half also went off injured. Yes the full back and wing are different, but it will be interesting to see the Olowofela’s get a run out.
So yes, different but not unrecogisable or indeed unexpected.

Are the Olowofela's not playing regularly? So much potential there.

Was it billed as a 'Development' XV before the line-up announcement? I was expecting something closer to a PRC team.

Or picking an extremely weak team for that too.

It’s possible that they think the full senior squad training against each other is better match prep than an under strength Notts side.

Will Roberts
Will Cave
James Groves
Ben Carpenter
Joe Adams

I cannot find anything for sure on these guys. I think Will Roberts is a Leicester Lions prop who played with Will Hurd for the County U-18s.

The rest basically not a dickie bird.

Unfortunately we’ve got a corking back line so they don’t always get a chance. They are good when they do play though.

So, apparently we're playing the RAF on the 21st? I assume its supposed to be at Leicester Lions.

Maybe another match for this group of players?
