It looked to me that the blindside stood up then placed his hand on either the prop or second row. Does this constitute binding? - I think not so correct decision. Flats seemed to imply that a bind meant keeping a shoulder in contact with the scrum too. Tough on Glasgow but it made for an exciting finish.
You are correct but the scrum had collapsed so nothing for him to push on and he was holding onto his lock. Also if he wasn’t binding neither was the Exeter flanker

Yup :smt026

I've not forgotten the behaviour of the Glasgow fans when we were thrapesed at WR. Genuinely the only time we ever felt unsafe at a rugby game.
So you’re happy a team lost a match because of the behaviour of some fans years ago. Nothing like holding a grudge hey

Meanwhile at Ashton Gate the Bulls are giving Bristol a good beating having scored a tbp, without their 4 current Springboks

It’s my opinion not trying to convince others. For me rugby rivalries come down to history, Bath over the years or trophies won, Sarries, not because of a few fan’s behaviour, which smacks, again imo, of what could be called soccer fan behaviour

21 was still bound! Definitely robbed!
Wasnt he the replacement scrum half, he pulled his opposite scrum half and threw him out not allowing him to play the ball, in my view it was tackling the SH without the ball, penalty.

I think it was explained that both the 9s were having a go at each other penalty was given against the flanker. It was how the officials saw it imo they had as many replays as were required to disallow the try. A home crowd decision for me

Meanwhile Leinster beating a much changed Stade side 12-0 after 30 minutes with Zac Henry at 10 for Stade.
Leinster don’t appear to be as clinical as previous seasons and they have lost 3 line outs so far

Binding at scrums, rucks and mauls is very, very 'loose' these days and I'm surprised it was disallowed as players are less bound umpteen times in a game and are allowed to get away with it.

A try for me, but, I'm only a paying supporter.

Level on match points with Stormers now who travel to Paris next weekend.
Because of their lbp Sale can still get ahead of us if they beat La Rochelle at home next week and we get nothing out of our next 2 games

With the fact that Sale host La Rochelle next week there there is only 1 combination where we can be knocked out

5-0 loss to La Rochelle
Sale beat La Rochelle next week but La Rochelle get both a TBP and LBP
We get nothing from Leinster
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.
