Leicester Tigers Dev XV v Oxford Uni

Post by RagingBull »

Leicester Tigers Development XV vs Oxford University Rugby Club tomorrow night
O. Morgan Meredith
N. Jack Kinder
M. Jacob Cusick
L. Joseph Woodward
K. Ben Woollett
J. Kieran Wilkinson
I. Sam Edwards
A. Archie Van Der Flier
B. Archie Vanes
C. Dan Richardson
D. Rob Carmichael
E. Oisan Thomas
F. George Perkins
G. Sam Williams
H. Harry Beddall

Replacements
P. Finn Theobald Thomas
Q. Max Bignell
R. Henry Mountford
S. Jack Shine
T. Ollie Allan
U. George Daniels
V. Toby Maddock
W. Elliot Gourlay

Interesting split 4 forwards on the bench.

No loan club named for Max Bignell and Jack Shine so are they with us?
Shine is in the Nottingham squad ATM and Bignell was with Cardiff last season and played in the same Wales U18 Beddall captained.

Another point for me is this strongly suggests Heyes may be at least fit to be a reserve this weekend as doubt we'd risk no replacement for Cole & Hurd if one went down
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Toby Maddock is the other name not recognised or on the website - quick Google suggests he is an ex- London Irish academy back 3. Could be a trial deal?

On the whole an exciting young squad and good to see the lads getting game time! This is the sort of fixture I hope to see us making more of an effort to see!

Totally agree; developing the future and keeping the game alive.

According to Oxford Uni Rugby's instagram account we won the game 6-31 (after going 6-0 down)

Not seen any match reports or who scored.etc
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Memories of the good old days come to mind., Evening games at Iffley Road, watching Tiger;s reserves and development players on that little ground., and drinking in the club house that was no bigger than my summer house! Happy days. :smt023 :
