One of the great servants for Tigers and England.
Amazing he has remained a one club man especially considering the offers that will have been made at various points through his career

Great player, great man. Haterz gonna hate and all that, but I don't think I've ever seen him let a team down he's been playing for.
Re: Ben Youngs retiring from Test Rugby
So good at controlling a game. Really surprised not to see him on the bench for the SA match. I think his skill set and experience could have made a difference at the end.
Hopefully he gets to lead the team out on Friday. I suspect that after the heroic effort against SA, Lawes was too broken to take one final bow.

The word is often over used, but in this case "legend" is appropriate, thanks for everything Lenny, hope you will pass on your wisdom to our young 'uns.

Hoping for a free of international pressures & "restrictions" end to his playing career with Tigers.
To win is not as important as playing with style!

A Legend and hopefully he will get back to help us get some wins soon!

Hugely under appreciated by many. Frequently played to orders rather than to the way he burst on to the scene. His 100+ caps speaks to his longevity and also how frequently he saw off challengers for the 9 shirt.
Fantastic player and servant to England and Tigers. Let's hope he has a year or so in him yet. All the best, Lenny

Agree with everyone. Great player. Certainly hope we see him in a Tigers shirt many more times.

The right time to step back from an epic international career. At 34 he could easily play for two or three more years at Tigers. Maybe even break Wiggy's record if he wants.

A great player and lovely man from a fantastic family …a proper and true ambassador for the game

Re: Ben Youngs retiring from Test Rugby
His performance has peaked and started to decline, but not to the extent the Mitchell fan club would have you believe. Perhaps more to do with the strict adherence to the limited game plan employed by the coach(es). BY could be relied on to implement them fully. Mitchell hardly setting the world alight since his elevation so it's likely due to the common denominator?.
