I'm interested to see him in Eng U20's I thought Miell was South African?

He is South African, was at Paul Roos gymnasium in Stellenbosch, signed by Wiggs

Interesting the no foreign based player rule doesn't apply at this level for the RFU.

You want an example of the depth of South African rugby in his final year at school he often started on the bench!

Just watched some footage of Finn Carnduff giving captains talk after the Oxford.
He is a very impressive leader, hopefully he will be good another as a 6 to lead the Tigers one day

Must be as he only signed last January. He sounds like a player who's worked his way from the back of the scrum to the front, and historically they've been quite successful!

I may be wrong (as I can't find it now) I have a recollection that due to logistical issues they allow players at age grades (now they cannot be capture teams) to play for the country of their residence &/or education (in addition to other eligibility)

For example U20's don't have the budget to fly Miell over to SA for training and camps, but the main national team does.

So it may well be that he is not *yet* EQP by the main definition of the word in terms of senior teams
