Final score 47-28
Are you sure Sky have it at 40-28.
If you’re correct we go below Exeter could be a cunning plan
Tigerbeat correct my apologies so by my reckoning that will be semi at Ealing

With the Prem opener on Friday and RWC stars still away I've no problem with it.

Personally, I think seeing what Woodward and Cusick have against a decent centre pairing in the experienced Michael le Bourgeois and very talented Litchfield is a good thing. Likewise new dev squad LH Archie van der Flier up against Oisin Heffernan, who previously tore Championship scrums up for Notts then was picked up by Saints.

Re home semi. There must be a genuine question of whether the club are making or losing money hosting these games given attendances?

1.van Wyk 2.Dolly 3.Heyes 4.Wells 5.Henderson 6.Hanro 7.Cracknell 8.Rogerson
9.Powell 10.Atkinson 11.OHC 12.Kelly 13.Porter 14.Bassett 15.Shillcock

16.Clare 17.Whitcombe 18.Hurd 19.Williams 20.Hatherell 21.Whiteley 22.Scott 23.Brown

Presuming a 23 something like that for Bristol. Presuming Cronin and Simmons injured that is. Maybe Chess the younger or Carter ahead of Williams? Or Hatherell covering lock and Ilione on the bench?

By my count only Cokanasiga from the senior squad was absent from either today's squad or the above 23. I think it makes complete sense to keep the likely 23 for Friday out the firing line for this though with only a few players potentially challenging the bench involved.

Looks like it ,but he still could’ve mixed it up a bit more. There was definitely scope to do it. For me momentum is a big thing ,bag the home SF and get a trophy in the cabinet early
Agreed :smt023

So we're 3rd seeds

Think Gloucester top seeds

Ealing 2nd seeds (whether they get 4 or 5 points from Jersey game)

We're 3rd seeds

Exeter 4th seeds.

So we're away vs Ealing

Exeter travel to Gloucester.

If Exeter beat Gloucester we'll be home for the final, if not we're away.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Exeter points difference 138, Tigers 130 so 4th seed I think, so still travelling to Ealing

If I’m right and Ealing awarded a 5 match point win 20-0 then we will have

Ealing 24 points PD 99
Gloucester 24 points PD 72
Exeter 20 points PD 138
Leicester 20 points PD 130

1st seed plays 4th, and 2nd plays 3rd

So semis Ealing v Leicester
Gloucester v Exeter

Looks like Ealing away in semi final.
Final at Ealing if Ealing win.
Tigers win and it would be at Kingsholme or Sandy Park

Why did we select to forfeit home advantage, surely the extra revenue would have been helpful. :smt017

Already been mentioned that the reduced crowd for such a game probably means we would make very little revenue

But if a semi or final, our gates would surely increase, I cant beleive we opted to play away for that reason :smt017
