His pronunciation of s few names was very odd. It was less of a commentary and more of an occasional summary.

Sounder very rusty. Handre and going behind seemed to galvanise but only just enough.

Wilkinson on co-comms was probably the best bit of the evening. A few insights into the Tigers camp.

That’s so true Darc Tiger ! TV or go to every game from now on 🙄… not sure if the commentator had really done his research so it was hard to fathom much from this evening

I know Chris Egerton has left his role, was the commentating his replacement? 🤨
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Was it definitely Bassett with the yellow card?

Radio Leicester said it was... (but their reporting may not have been the greatest)

However, Sale Sharks Twitter feed said it was Pollard, which was backed up by Mercury correspondent John Wiffen

Radio Leicester used a commentator that did the Worcester Warriors games for local radio for the Caldy game. He was quite good. Tonights chap has done BBC radio Stoke and Guernsey from his LinkedIn. I presume they are trying s few out before the premiership starts.

When I posted Josh Bassett yellow I was going off Radio Leicester commentary. Unless, of course, the commentary was inaccurate.
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!

Yellow card was for Pollard in the Leicester Tigers match report.

Any win at Sale will be hard fought. Makes topping the group with 5 out of 5 wins a real possibility now and moving on to the semi finals

Listening to some of the post match interviews certainly seems that Mckellar is looking to build that extra attacking layer on top of the strong set piece and defence

You wouldn’t say many of that team would get in Sales strongest side, there seems to be an absence of any South Africans
Will be interesting to see Ernst van Rhyn, former junior Springbok captain
Ah your knowledge has definitely trumped mine. Other than this young man there seems to be none of the usual South African names 🤣
Sorry, have realised that potentially came across a bit snarky! Not intended :smt039 - assuming they were holding the Du Preez family back for the Prem

No it didn’t at all would seem like a good signing for them.
Just seen Bassetts try took some finishing, convinced he will be a really strong signing for us
