Van Der Flier was good for Nottingham. Sam Edwards was an utter nuisance for Cambridge and Archie Vanes was virtually anonymous when he came on.

Good Nuisance or bad? Did he annoy his opponents or his team mates?

As a Nottingham fan, he was a nuisance to us, the opponents. He played very well indeed, so he was a nuisance in a good way!

Hopefully Bristol don't nick him then

Watched it Here's my thoughts.

Smith - scored the 2nd try and got MoTM
Allan - played well made the decisive break that got Loughborough back into the game
Meredith - his kicking off the tee was one of the differences between the sides, forced Hartpury to chase the game from earlier in the piece. Lovely vision to take a quick crossfield pen on their own 22 to put the winger away for a try, he was put under pressure in the first half but pulled the strings 2nd half.
Gourlay - seemed solid at the back, heavily involved in the 3rd try.

Agree RB. I’d love to see this sort of team again Black Lions. If not also Sale / Exeter by then. Let the kids play and see what they’re made of in and amongst the 1st teamers. This is what the prem cup should have been imo
