Defense nice and strong - need to get a bit more of the ball though - notts fronting up well but scrum starting to creak

Good half for us, lets see how the young lads in the 2nd half team get on.

Also interested to see who skippers the team, I hope Whitcombe, but maybe Williams?

Ex Tiger David Williams with the try (I liked the look of him when he came on loan to us tbh)

Wasn’t at the game so can only go on the limited comments on social media and the app, but sounded like there was more of an intent to attack without losing the forward grunt of a Tigers side.

Typical pre season hit out with seemingly some errors and discipline taking some time to bed in.

Appreciate it’s only the first hit out so rust is expected, but are there any standouts or exciting prospects to look out for?

I look forward to seeing the highlights on LTTV and to the season starting next week with Caldy at home! COYT!

Thought the scrum half looked very promising. Quick to the breakdown and a good pass.
