Sad news to read of his passing, a huge contributor to the club both on and off the field. RIP

Great player sadly follows his back row colleague Dave Forfar from that era. That’s was the Tigers team I first watched .. with Peter Wheeler etc.

Gary subsequently was important to the club off the field too. In addition ran a very successful steel business in Loughborough.

Big life from the big man.

Sad news indeed. RIP.

The man who picked up Chris Cotterill (Waterloo 10) and placed him neatly over his own goal line at the old clubhouse end.

I have a pint or two with Chris from time to time. At least one will be in remembrance.

Top Tiger! Best wishes to his family and friends.
Saw him in quite a few games and in his final game in the victorious Tigers’ team that won the John Player Cup at Twickenham. As a youngster, then these John Player Finals were great days out and the players celebrated winning by standing on a small platform at Twickers: Gary Adey always had time for the masses of Tigers’ fans and you could see the pride at bringing glory to Tigers in his huge smile. Thanks.

So sorry to learn of Gary's passing. A true Tiger from the first time he pulled on the shirt.
As others have said, a really top man who always had time for a chat with supporters and especially, former players.
RIP Gary.
A life long Tiger
