Looks like Oz will retain the Ashes then,shame they couldn't have played in the spirit of the game but hey ho. Some will say its Bairstows own fault, and it might not have been enough to win anyway but it certainly leaves a sour taste and will be a talking point in a fantastic series where overall up to now you have to say England have been the better team

Brilliant! Without that bizarre early declaration,some better catching and shot selection we could’ve been good fora 4-0 win! The Ozzies were great but even though it finished 2-2 I thought we were comfortably the better team over the whole series. Fantastic all round!

One of the best series ever. For me, Test Match cricket is the real game.
