A report this morning on the BBC News website quotes the sentencing judge "Judge Wayne Barnes". I knew that our Wayne's Barnes, referee Wayne Barnes, was a lawyer but I hadn't heard that he had been promoted to the judiciary. Alas I think it is a slip by the BBC journo who meant Judge Wayne Beard. If you want to catch it before it's (presumably) rectified, it's a pretty terrible article about someone from Swansea imprisoned for possession of extreme pornography.
