Realistically what do you think Lions can expect from next season Tigerburnie. I would have thought a solid mid table finish would be ideal.

There are no easy fixtures, it's quite a step up in level, you hit semi pro and in Rosslyn Parks case, pretty much fully pro teams. Avoiding relegation is I think the usual hope for promoted sides, however it is a very good and experienced Lions side, with a couple of players who have played in the Championship. If the they tie up with the Tigers as they have done previously, having the squad boosted with Tigers cubs will help too.
In Nat 2 you could get away playing with a bit of a knock, at Nat 1 I feel you need everyone at 100 percent, a bigger squad would help, mid table would be a very good result. A decent Loughborough Students side struggled a few years back, the Lions will be playing some famous old clubs, with Moseley, Blackheath, Richmond and Rosslyn Park amongst them, should be an exciting season.

It seems entry to the Coventry game includes a bar-b-q, Beer festival, a Gin tent and live music, so a bit of a rugby party, hat's not to like. :smt003

Leicester Lions travel to Butts Park on the 19th for a pre season match against Championship side Coventry with a 3 pm kick off, this also coincides with the Coventry Beer festival, beer and rugby, who'd have thought of that ? :smt003
