Huuuge performance from Munster!

Under waves of pressure in the 2nd half, then score a late sucker punch. Vintage.

Some Munster fans will have a decent night in Cape Town tonight that's for sure...
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

There's 5,000 of them in Cape Town so there may be beer shortages announced there tomorrow.

I'm not sure the swathes of empty seats seen on TV for the game at HQ was a good look, but thankfully I'm not in charge!

It used to be a day out for all premiership clubs at the end of the season. If you went you would see jerseys from all the clubs, and fans would buy tickets for he occasion even if their team wasn’t playing.
The cost of everything these days makes that less likely.

Even at half full there would have been 40, 000 there which is good for a game of club rugby. I wouldn’t move it as it may be the only chance some players get to play at Twickenham

It was so bad for this year it takes the urgency out of buying early bird tickets for next years final.
Unless next years final has a better supported team in it, I could see a lower attendance next year.
Even then the best scenario puts food prices about 50% higher than three years ago, which for those of us with modest incomes is unsustainable.

They could always reduce ticket prices. Oh wait this is the RFU we’re talking about. No chance

I suppose that’s what you get when 2 of the lesser supported teams get to the final.

Tigers v Saints and it would more than sell out.
