Play Off Semi-final - Saracens vs Saints

Post by kpj tiger »

Looking like we might have a cricket score at this rate, Saints just look soft defensively. Do feel for Saints a bit with Maitland scoring 2 tries when he arguably shouldn't be on the pitch

Saints picked a big pack but still getting smashing physically. Farrell showing his class and running the show from 10. Every time they go wide they look like they’ll score.

Sarries to start pulling off key players soon. Their 2nd string should see off Saints easily enough.

For me Lawes showing his limitations other than the odd big hit. Very rarely beats the first man in contact.
For England Curry and Hill much better options at 6 for me

Disappointing first half from Saints. Will they turn it around in the second?

Agreed and Ludlum looking like a blindside trying to play 7. Although thought Ribbans has shown up well so far.

Mitchel is defending himself out of a World Cup place and now seems to be imitating Marcus Smith with a little jog sideways that no one is buying.

Never has been good enough against top sides. Not fit enough, tends to fade in the last 20 minutes and like Smith is a show pony who'll get annihilated by the likes of South Africa, All Black's, Ireland or France.
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!

I like Ribbans he’s off to France isn’t he.
Compare Lawes to Martin and the ground Martin makes after contact with leg drive. Don’t want Martin at 6 though

Tempest running the line. Unless he’s developed x ray vision he couldn’t see Farrell foot through the Saints player
