They should have a little cap to throw around still though another openside would seem an odd way to spend it when Reid, Cloete and Underhill are all still on the books. I suppose they could probably get him in under injury dispensation though for next season and then he could inherit Cloete's space in the squad for the season after.
If Tigers were looking for just a fourth choice signing at loosehead than Haffar would be a good shout, the kid is a beast and at 21 is prime for some refinement before becoming a Genge style prop in near future.
Check out the wheels.

Agree with RB, they have got Hill and Lawrence initially for very little, but that won’t have been the case once extended contracts were agreed.
Potentially the same for Barbary though he does seem beset by injuries

Hill and Lawrence were Worcester’s best 2 players. The latter now in the England frame so be surprised if they weren’t on at least 350k between them.Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Sun May 28, 2023 11:56 am Agree with RB, they have got Hill and Lawrence initially for very little, but that won’t have been the case once extended contracts were agreed.

Yeah I did say a little bit of cap. Ewels coming back from injury early when they'd used him for dispensation was a bit unlucky.RagingBull wrote: ↑Sun May 28, 2023 11:31 amThey also had to find room that wasn’t injury cap for Lawrence, Barbeary and Hillsam16111986 wrote: ↑Sun May 28, 2023 11:12 am Russell and du Toit in for Bath and then put;

Got to remember they didn’t have enough cap for Ewels to play for them end of season either
Kpj yeah Lee-Warner is staying until the end of November then heading back to Australia.
Bath certainly used their cap allocation creatively last season with some players coming in for very short contracts and then moving on some that weren't going to be around for the following season.

Now this would be huge news!!

Very highly rated scrum coach, recently learning line out coaching, almost completed his phd, know DMK very well…
Genuinely don’t see what is not to linke about Palmer. If this is true it’s a huge steal!

Palmer sounds like he'd be a great addition here. He and McKellar in tandem with Brett should have the forwards well sorted.

Agree massively Sam!sam16111986 wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2023 8:13 am Palmer sounds like he'd be a great addition here. He and McKellar in tandem with Brett should have the forwards well sorted.
If we can bring in McKellar, Palmer, Dickens (still semi convinced but I’ll give the club the benefit of the doubt!) and a strong Aled replacement alongside Deacon, Everard, Smith I think we are well set on the coaching front.

4. Starkey
7. Perkins
10. Threlfall
10/15. Taylor
I feel should be nailed on
Maybes are

Aled is a huge loss. They were saying their fitness coach had really worked on their stamina because of the faster game they are now playing, so there are replacements out there if not necessarily quite to Aleds level

I read it that way too as I think he’s still wallabies LO coach. If we are going to miss one coach to be delayed by the WC, best to make it someone Dan McKellar knows inside and out and has coached with for years. Only then Palmer meeting the players and learning them really as you’d hope the knowledge and set piece game plan would be able to be passed via DMK.Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2023 9:05 amWould be a great signing ami reading correctly he would arrive after RWCRunTigerRun wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2023 8:02 am Now this would be huge news!!

I think Koroiduadua from the Drua would be a good signing
Plays both sides of the scrum.
Drua scrum looked better with him at loosehead last season though

Do you think Satala getting minutes in the Saints friendly shows he's liked or just making up the numbers?RagingBull wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2023 8:41 am We have also signed current Midland academy and England U18 winger Jack Kinder
