Nothing, it's how it always operates in European away knock outs to make sure you get your allowed allocation. If people remember 2005 we had the wings of the old Landsdowne Road. In Clermont in 2013 (or was it 12) we had two blocks one in the side stand, one in the end stand.

To be fair, I am happy for Leinster to sell as many tickets as they can. Given the constraints, we are probably only going to sell a few hundred tickets so the atmosphere is going to be more than a little one sided irrespective. As we get half the revenue from gate receipts, I am happy for Leinster to sell as many as they can.

As we saw from the Edinburgh game, sir does make a large difference to the game! Sir for the Leinster game has not been announced yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were Nika Amashukeli.

He would be my preference for sure...

Definitely he's in the top tier of International refs IMO

If not him, we're likely to get another French ref, or Mike Adamson I think?
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Mike Adamson is IMHO very average and I would definitely prefer Nika Amashukeli to him. The other option, I guess is, Pierre Brousset, but I do not know much about him other than he reffed the Queens vs Stormers game.

Quite, an even better reason to let the few hundred to 1k Tigers fans that are going get their tickets in the allocation promised asap so they can release the rest of the allocation quicker!

I think it sums up most people's.....

The lack of a top level Welsh official doesn't help at present, Evans just guesses & Whitehouse seems to have regressed & become unfit..
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Indeed they have and I just have a feeling we might do it this time. I think the Edinburgh game was good for us...a tough, gritty win against good opponents. With no pressure on us and all the massive expectation on Leinster I think mindset will be key to who wins.

Didn't realise knockout gate reciepts were a 50/50 split. That's good news for the club when we've been a bit financially shakey.

We'll probably make more playing at the Aviva than if we'd hosted.

This was one reason why the Edinburgh match could not be added to season tickets to make up for lost games. We would have had to pay Edinburgh half of the face value for each of the seats issued to season ticket holders and so we would have been paying out money to play rather than making money on a home fixture.

You would hope that Leinster would be able to pack in the home fans on an Easter weekend and make a bit of cash for the club.
