Mike Brown - The Return | Leicester Tigers Tribute

Post by StanWilks »

Tigers Fans!

Congratulations on Mike Brown's contract extension! I've had this tribute in my locker for some time, and now seemed like the perfect time to release it: https://youtu.be/S_SrISwwKBk

It truly has been The Return of Mike Brown!

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy it -- to think he's already accumulated two minutes worth of highlights from five games is astonishing!

All the best,

Stan.
Used to play rugby. Kind of a Poundland Cipriani? Yeah, I'll go with that.

Top drawer, both the player and the reel, thanks, Stan :smt023
I would say a legend in the making but maybe he's already achieved that status? :smt017

Thank you so much, Fentiger! It means a lot to hear you say that. :)

He's been a legend for a long time but now that he dons the red, white and green, he's not just a legend - he's a TIGERS LEGEND!

Great highlights. Hope Wigglesworth takes note as I honestly believe he must start at Full Back v Leinster and if fit Exeter. Freddie is great but teams know that he isn’t an attacking threat for us! Freddie onto the wing please.
And well done Mike Brown with supporting Luther Burrell.
My wife and I loved the way he played against us, particularly down at The Stoop as he always seemed to have time for both sets of fans after the game.

Not sure if Brown is registered or can be registered for Europe.

He's on the registered list on the EPCR and has been for a number weeks, given the deadline was last Wednesday, and he was on there beforehand I don't see any issues with us being able to pick him.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Thanks, man!

Excellent extrapolation on his eventual selection against Leinster. Hopefully he plays against Exeter!

Speaking of having time for fans, he very generously extended his gratitude when I shared the tribute with him on Twitter: https://twitter.com/StanWilksRugby/stat ... 4187783197

Freddie is not a winger he lacks sufficient pace and for me he was badly exposed against Leinster on the wing.
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity

Agree that he's not really a winger. For me he has the top speed with his very long stride, but not the 0-60 time nor the agility in tight situations.

If Freddie was a runner he would be a 400m specialist, not a sprinter.
To win is not as important as playing with style!
