Given Gloucester have some very good finishers in their squad (May, LRZ, Thorley) does this suggest Santi Carreras isn’t that great a fly half? Good at the flash stuff but not the basics - the anti George Ford.
I think he is actually a 15 who they shoehorn into play 10.
I think he's a great all round player. You could probably play him anywhere in the backline. He needs someone to drill in the tactical side of flyhalf play though.
Not sure I'd be putting too much on him though. LRZ butchered three decent chances, at least one of those should have been a try. Thorley getting his pocket picked by Radwan was just a player switching off. The forwards struggling to get any momentum in the second half against a man less.
Skivington will have a raft of unhappy elements to review.

I have said it before but for me they are the definition of flat track bullies, as long as they can get their maul going they have a chance but out side of that they are woefully limited, which is odd given on paper they have a couple decent backs. They try to effectively play the exact way we did last season and have not seemed to evolve at all over the past couple seasons.
The lesson from last night is, if your a man down you fight every phase. Radwan's effort was remarkable, Elliott Obatoyinbo MoM throughly deserved. Some cracking efforts from both sides, Harris was brilliant for Glaws. Looking forward to Saint /Irish

Agreed, looks like Radwan played really well. I wouldn’t complain if he found his way to Oval Park…
Obatoyinbo doing well to bounce back at this level after being let go by Sarries.
Cheering on the Tigers in Detroit.
Previously a slower, shorter, less good looking version of Tom Croft.
The boy Smith looking remotely average for Quins against Sarries, getting smashed around, not protected, poor decision making and doesn’t have the physically to mix it!! As for Farrell he is just a yawn after watching Pollard today!
I just cannot stand Farrell. He should have got carded for diving. He was mistakenly hit on the neck with a hand and Farrell clutches his face. Just unacceptable in rugby even if it is being played at a wendyball stadium.
