Next taxi off the rank for SB - get Pearson, Mercer and Martin into the England team for some abrasiveness
Nice and balanced back row in all fairness
Martin now a lock who can also play 6 for me
Who would be in your engine room? For me it’s Chessum when fit and Itoji

You look at South Africa and New Zealand and they have probably 4 locks they can rotate. Itoje is just ahead of the others at the moment but Martin and Chessum are on his heels.

Martin in the 2nd row with either of Chessum or Itoje. Chessum and Itoje are the same kind of player - you need a hard hitting heavy 4 which is either Martin or Ribbans.

Back row of Courtney (Willis if Courtney not fit) , Pearson and Mercer

For whom - he’s not a better FB than Steward. Better winger than Watson ?

Arundell just confirming he’s not ready yet for international rugby. Great talent but needs a couple of years to learn his trade.

We all want to support our players, but do other players have different qualities to our own? Better running with the ball, bit quicker, possibly? I think he should be in the squad at least.

Not supporting our players - just giving 2 examples of players in the current England squad who I believe are better than loader… are you dropping Freddie , Anthony or Malins for Loader ????

The issues SB needs to resolve are not in the backs - the pack is underpowered. Eddie had a plan (????) to play it fast and loose but I’m afraid in international rugby , against the best, you need some muscle.

I wasn't suggesting we drop them, I think he should be in the squad, he is versatile, covers more than 1 position, yesterday proved it for me, think he has been in squad previously. Malins would be my outsider if someone had to be dropped.
