Not really easing their internationals back Sarries are all guns blazing at that one despite not really needing to go big in the league

It's pretty simple in my view, regardless of where you are in the table, you'd want to put your best possible 15 on the field and the best possible 8 on the bench. Aside from wanting your best players on the field, the fans want to see their international players that they've watched on TV, and it grows the game. I'm baffled that you'd want to do anything else to be honest. (I don't buy that the players need a rest, there's not many games left and you want to finish as strongly as possible - ask Freddie Steward if he's tired and needs a break ?)

Seems like a showpiece game so I guess it is not surprising they want their big names back in.

Harlequins has become a bit of a grudge match for Sarries in the last 4-5 years so I'm not surprised

May help us. A good win for Sarries and a win for us almost knocks 2 teams out of the running for top 4

The ref also pretty much takes out the Newcastle 9 on that last try.

To be fair Austin was absolutely spot on.

Ref did his best to try and downgrade it but once it was obvious the arm was tucked there wasn't much he could do.

Thorley ran through both Falcons centres for the second try, can't really blame the ref for that.

If the ref were an opposition player that would certainly have been blocking, I don't think the 9 would have stopped the try but it is the last thing you need when down to 14.

I agree that it was the right decision but if Oz hadn’t asked for his producer to run the tackle again does the TMO see it? Oz influencing games because TMO is seeing the BT feed just shouldn’t be happening.

Time again though. How long did the tackler have to react to a situation that changed in front of him in fractions of seconds? A competitive game is now not. Red cards for deliberate foul play - fine. Red cards for accidents is killing the game

He led with the shoulder and didn’t wrap - don’t see that as an accident.

It helped get the correct decision so not a bad thing.

I'd like to see the 20 min red card with the player replaced at the end of the 20 mins as trialled in Super Rugby. Give it a go in the Prem, I think it'll improve things.
