Hosea Saumaki - Dark Horse | Leicester Tigers Tribute

Post by StanWilks »

Hey, Tigers Fans!

Hope you're all OK!

I just wanted to share a tribute I recently made of Hosea Saumaki, a dark horse who always seems to loiter in the periphery of the starting XV, but is seldom given the chance outside Prem Cup games and the occasional foray into European and English rugby: https://youtu.be/cta8So2VdQ0

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy it and if you have any feedback for what I can do better in the future, I would be most humbled to hear your thoughts!

Many thanks,

Stan Wilks. :)
Used to play rugby. Kind of a Poundland Cipriani? Yeah, I'll go with that.

Honestly would like to see what Saumaki could do with Wigglesworth getting a tune out of the backs

I hate to sound thick as mud, but what you do mean by that? My mind's drawn a blank. Haha.

Thanks, man! You're very welcome. That last-minute try against Connacht is my favourite of his!

I particularly like the one where 2 defenders (wasps?) appear to tackle each other in his wake! A metaphor?
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….

Perhaps! Any film lecturer would be proud of that analysis!

Seconded. Get him one on one with his opposite number and he's hard to stop. With Brown's running threat from fullback as well could be fun to watch.

Thanks Stan, great work.

I would like to see Hosea Saumaki given a run out in the last few games, as from when I have seen him play he has been pretty useful the game away at Connacht springs to minds among others.

Excellent, Stan! Does anyone have any real info on why we see so little of him?
