I think whatever the outcome of any citing hearing, I can't see Steward starting vs Bristol. Even if overturned, the team will be practicing with Brown (most likely) or Watson at 15 for next weekend's game
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Brown at fullback, Watson on one wing and Potter on the other for me. Freddie rested if not banned.
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!

I’d go with that too. Although I like Simmons ,he’s getting better every game.

If Steward is available, he starts, but Brown, Simmons, Potter also works for me.

Can we confirm when Freddie will be before the 'beak' for being head butted :smt018
And when is the verdict likely to be declared? :smt022 or :smt023

Hearing is tonight, decision normally announced the following day (normally around 10 or 11am for the RFU ones, not sure when the 6N disciplinary panels announce though)

Thanks TFS.
Whilst the thread is for this weekend against Brizz and will he be in the 15, 23 or rested I like many are as interested in how this contentious element of play is judged.

I think it would be harsh to drop Brown for Steward as he’s come in and played out of his skin, on form, you’d probably say Brown playing better (obviously different levels to the competition each of them played in). Especially if we’re looking to keep brown on for another year, it would not help that if we dropped him even when he’s arguably been our best player throughout the 6 nations period

Cole, Steward and JVP to rest this weekend and then Watson to be rested Vs Edinburgh? Split the load a bit.

Bristol have Clermont next week so might want to give Genge and Sinckler this weekend off in order to have them available Vs Clermont.

The rest of the non-injured players should all be pretty fresh after no game last weekend.

Thought Brown was gone after the 6N? Is this is last game? Or was his contract until the end of the season?

For me Cole starts... need to nullify Genge...

Steward at most on the bench for me, other things swirling around like hearings. Plus apart from his red he's played every minute of the 6N so test rugby is intense, he could do with a break the most, we may as well use Brown while we have him. Back 3 for me Brown, Watson & Potter

JvP - bench, bit of rotation for him to ease him back, let him come on and bring the tempo towards the end. In YBY we have a quality replacement.

Watson, as said above straight back in for me, Simmons has done well in our International's absence but with Bristol's backline I want Watson in there.

Reffell probably starts for me, though may be on the bench.

This is another huge game so even if they are on the bench the England lads have to contribute! Lose v Bristol and top 4 is probably gone. Win and it puts pressure on those below!

No ,it won't be gone imo. I always thought we would get away with one loss and I stand by that. Although BP will be important. Other teams will be taking points off each other.

If Genge is playing. Remember he needs a rest week at some point and Bears have Clermont after us.
