Now I am less busy at weekends and have a group of 3 of us in the village who go to matches, I am certainly looking at a season ticket for next year.

Re opening sentence of first post:-

So how does that relate to the opening statement in the renewal letter that says “prices are frozen or reduced in all categories”? Knocking off the additional £48 for women and U18’s mines gone up by £17 - not a lot of money but they’ve either been frozen therefore let me pay what I have been paying per month or there’s been a slight increase - which is it??

I cannot recall if you renewed your season ticket before a certain date, the price was retained at the previous years price. After that date it reverted to a new price which represented a small increase - this being the cost of the 2022-2023 Season ticket (guess they have frozen it at this rate for a limited period for existing Season Ticket Holders to renew).
After that date, I would expect a new rate to be applied for renewals and new season ticket holders.

I'm slightly mystified, ours are quoted each month 2 payments, per person, same day at £25.83 then another payment of £3.00. Why are there 2 payments per person, ie 4 per month for self plus wife?

Would suggest that a call to the Ticket Office may be able to clear it up.

Thks EYT, That may explain our £3 surcharge!

Tigerbeat thanks for your reply also, renewal notice does say phone if we have a query, I may do that, but do I want a season ticket for the Ladies, maybe?

If it is for automatic Ladies team matches, is it for our seats, or is it standing only?

The £3 per season ticket per month is for access the the Women’s games (adult price). You can opt out if you call or email the ticket office.

even if you think you can't (or don't want to) go to the ladies matches the blurb states all season ticket money will go to funding the team - I think this is a small price to support the project so will be supporting this and hoping to get to a few matches too. I know the team will find if tough for the first few seasons but i think we will get to the top end of the womens game fairly quickly

I assume they'll keep it as it is this season, and only use the lower section of the big stand with no seat allocation, unless demand is higher or there's a double header.

Even at the full £50 rate, it sounds like a bargain, as it should mean up to about a dozen fixtures.

I've discussed it with the other half and we are going to do exactly what you say, support both our teams. :smt023 At this rate the ladies could have 14,000 supporters. :smt045

Personally I am not happy that they have added a charge for the ladies team.

Whilst I might be happy to pay to support the ladies team, I am unhappy it has been added in a way that means I will have to opt out.
